Last night I watched a recently released movie on DVD, GODSEND. Plot Outline: After their young son, Adam (Bright), is killed in an accident, a couple (Kinnear, Romijn-Stamos) approach an expert (De Niro) in stem cell research about bringing him back to life through an experimental and illegal cloning and regeneration process. When Adam comes back to them, however, he's.. different... It was an interesting movie, if you haven't seen it I recommend renting it. It got me thinking and I don't agree with human cloning, I just think it's wrong and it's just plain weird. I hope it's never a reality. What do you think?
Just today I was wishing I had a clone.... I want to see this movie. I love Robert Deniro! I think cloning is bordering on messing with Things You Shouldn't Mess with because it Will Bite You in the Butt at the end of the day. I am not religious to speak of but I can see this going against the higher force of things. It's creepy. But I feel this way about facelifts; etc. Make the best of what you have.
Well if you love Deniro, then rent this movie. It's very good, although the ending could have been better. I agree with your thoughts exactly as well. Look there is a site about this too, they claim they do it. http://www.godsendinstitute.org
Only if he could replace me on the concrete crew tomorrow at 6:00 am and I could sit at home on forum. Gota go get some sleep, NY Good Night. No I don't agree with it or just about anything else in this world Kalina.

To me cloning is like Nuclear Science ... done right it could benifit mankind .. look at Nuclear Power, Chemo, etc ... but ofcourse there are negatives ... Nuclear Bomb and such ... its a very fine line .. but hopefully the positives will outweigh the negatives.
Whoah, weird science first thing in the morning...? Payout's right on the nail there. However, in that Schwarzenegger film there was the company "Re-Pet" - I disagree with cloning but there was appeal in that notion. I shall just have to enjoy my "kids" as long as I can
I think it is something we could benefit from, but the risks involved are pretty scary... That site seems like a pretty clever form of a Godsend DVD affiliate.
I'd like to clone myself about five times. Have the clones do all the work and then I can live the high life
I Don't know when (Or should I say not really for nor against human clones) I worked at the Museum of Science and Industry. We had an exhibit about clones, and all of the clones that worked. I think that if we could get clone humans it would solve some problems (my MOM just died time new bring her back to life)and also create many of them two George W's couldn't be great. .............Thinking my post just confused myself, should I post this, ah what the hell
Don't worry WW, if it were up to me you would never be copied, I just don't know if the world would want two of you around. Just think of the extra posting I would have to do just to reply to your crazy posts I just don't have the time to deal with both of you's
