    I changed from Kaspersky to NOD32... and I didn't have any problems so far..

    AVG's "Link Scanner" can be heavy too. If you don't surf much, I suggest you turn it off.

    I use Yahoo Anti-Spy with AVG. Sometimes Yahoo Anti-Spy catches trojans that AVG doesn't.

    Thank you for pointing out the weakness of Link Scanner. Yeah, I will turn it off. Is there anything that is unnecessary in AVG Features that I should turn it off too?

    I was using NOD 2.7. I'm still attracted to NOD 2.7. Maybe my disappointment will subside in the coming days.

    Kaspersky is no resource hog like Norton :rolleyes:

    2009 version is far more stable and consume minimal resources...

    ive tried almost every anti-virus.. but NOD 32 is working best for me..
    it doesnt effects your operating system..
    thumbs up for NOD 32.. :)

    I switched to AVG, because Norton's was a resource pig. Overtime, AVG has become as bad. I don't know what to try next.
