Your Suggestion for An Anti-virus Software

NOD32 has failed to protect our computer lately. We've seen pop-ups of trojan warning. NOD32 fails to update for a week already. I used to be a fan of this software, but I think I need to change to a new one.

Any suggestion for an anti-virus that is better than NOD32?

Kaspersky seems to be expensive. I wonder if AVG Anti-Virus is an excellent free software.

I have used Kaspersky and ended up moving to AVG Free, just as good, fast and doesn't hog resources like KASPERSKY.

Yes AVG-8.0 free antivirus software is good. You can also go with Avast free 4.8 Home Edition. It works really good.

It appears that there are many good options that sometimes it's confusing which one is the best. I will try AVG today. Anyone using TrendMicro?

Hi Friends, I removed NOD32 and I installed AVG Free Edition. Guess what? During my initial scan, 12 Trojans were detected and removed by AVG. Those viruses had been lurking in my computer that went undetected by NOD32.
