Dear forum members, it is true I am new around but hopefully you will learn about me more with the time.

I have a small proposal that will benefit both of us, especially you, I wasn't sure if this is the right section to post this, so excuse me in advance if it isn't.

I am running a 3 days old blog by the moto "Tales about profits", and except the useful information I'm planning to post about blogs, blogging, advertising and internet marketing, I want to have a "Stories of Success" section on it.

So, what I want from you is to write your story of success. How everything started, who are you, where you are at, where you are now how much time it took you to become successful where 'successful' is determinated by your common sense, maybe share us your earning. Just.. use your blogging skills to do it, I'm sure you all of you can write good articles.

If anyone is interested to have his own article on my site, in this related Stories of Success category, I'll be glad to speak with you. However, I want your site to have something in common with mine, and what my site is all about I already said above.

I won't post any links as this might look like self promoting, therefor if you are interested, send me a private message with the link of your blog so I can decide if I will post about you, and later you will send me your story with a minimum of 300 words. I will include link back to your blog in the article.

    Generalised:

    You:
    - Like me.
    - Like my blog.
    - Want to become more popular.
    - Want some backlinks.
    - Want to inspire the other bloggers.
    - Want to share your story.

    Me:
    - I like you.
    - I like your blog.
    - I want to make your story accessible to more people.
    - I want to make this story part of this event at my blog.
    - I want to hear your story and learn something.

People round these parts SELL articles, they don't just give them away to 3 day old blogs, I'm afraid.

I can see what these two guys mean. If your blog is new theres no point in wasting time writing an article for free on it (given no traffic), and if the person is already successful you'd probably have to give them something besides traffic anyways.

Maybe you can think of something to offer a successful person for their story besides just to have it told?

icetrax, if you do proceed with this, be sure to do a background check on them first. There are a lot of liars out there. You want people who TRULY are a success.

If you write about them, and they are nothing but hacks and liars, what does that say about your site?

    Good luck with it.

If this is going to benefit anyone, it will be the one I'm writing about, and not me. My idea was making a big database of such articles. I thought there could be anyone who is interested to have his own article on the blog.

It's maybe a few days old blog, but one day who knows. Everyone start somewhere.

And yes, I will check them copper, thank you.

    P.S. narsticle, grow up. :)

Anyone that is a true success in this industry would have enough knowledge not contribute to an article about themselves to be posted on a site that has not yet established itself. (or for that matter anyone with any business sense) Who knows what direction your blog might take? It is 3 days old. What if you decide to start to promote all the blackhat techniques and someone that is anti-blackhat has given you an article to post on themselves. I am not judging you for asking but you have to look at the risk/reward from the other side. Much risk with little to no reward.

Hello alex, I don't want your links or anyone else's. I will link to them, whatever. Anyway I give up.

Volume10, you have a strong point there. I will try to establish my blog first.

    Sorry for time wasted. :)
