Im just interested in how you people getting 300-500 uniques a day are doing?

CTR, earnings or whatever would be good.

Ive doubled my CTR by messing with the ad formats, just interested in what every one else is doing.

The earnings are obviously going to be based on subject, but still I WANNA KNOW!

    Knoweldge is power!

I think it still pretty much depends on the subject, layout, navigation throughout the site and where your visitors are comming from. It will be different for every site. I don't think CTR disclosure allowed by Google's TOS - monthly earnings yes, but that won't give you any good stats.

that was going to be where i was going next, as regards to layout etc.
I thought CTR was allowed now, if its not then just ignore me!!!

I hope that's $300 over the month and not a day, otherwise I'm going to go stick my head in the oven.

I only really started taking AdSense seriously about half way through this month. I'm still playing around with location a lot, but have seen my income go from somewhere around 10c a day to around $4 or so without much experimentation. I'm now on a mission to move things around to find the best performance from each page. We'll see what happens! CTR is below 5%. Traffic usually over 500 uniques a day.

How do you people manage so many uniques a day? I average less than 100 a day. Very few days can I get over 300.

If you want good traffic and your struggling in the SERPS sometime you need to think outside the box, get an angle and be inventive, you can go and find traffic if your site is "worthy" and has content as other sites with huge traffic may feature/link to you.

I wouldn't want anything higher than around 3-4% CTR, that way you can achieve a healthy balance between giving users content, making money and keeping a large percentage of visitors with the goal that they will be back, often.

My site get 3,000 to 5,000 unique visitos a day. But my monthly revenue from adsense is not yet USD XX,XXX.00, its just USD X,XXX.00

So maybe I'm not lucky because my site is not targeting high paying keyword. I know a people who get lest visitor than me but have a revenue of USD XXX.00 a day.

It's funny how traffic is all relative, isn't it? By that I mean there are people who can scarcely believe it's possible for sites to get 500 uniques a day, whereas those of us getting that can scarcely believe that it's possible for sites to get 5,000 uniques a day, and so on and so on.

500 uniques a day, which is where I am about now (apart from yesterday when I just fell a handful of visitors short of the 10,000 mark), is not a lot of traffic, although when I had 50 a day it seemed like a long, long way off! Now I consistently reach it, I wonder why I made all the fuss about it :)

Once you got there, though, you'd feel terribly guilty.

Course, that said, I'd kill for 5,000 a day :)

You can get there. It takes time, patience, and lots of content. As your content grows, your traffic will grow... But keep in mind your topic. Some topics just aren't built to produce high traffic. You may reach a peak with a site not because of your content, but just because there are not that many folks searching for it on a given day. If this is the case, try branching out with a new site, or create new categories under your existing site. Vary the content (keeping it relative and useful of course).

I agree with that completely. While I think the potential audience for my Random Rant site is huge, it's a lot of work to keep it updated, so that limits me a bit.

I've recently started work on www.highlandweddings.net with a view to building it up to be an invaluable resource for people getting married in the Highlands, and Scotland in general. It's going to take a while, but reckon it should find a decent audience given time.

My site is averaging 400-500 uniques over the last 30 days, but my AdSense earnings are nowhere near the previously-mentioned $300 per month. It was bringing in $100+ per month until May 2005; at that point, though, my earnings fell to $50+ per month. (The SmartPricing monster, perhaps?)

My site's more of a hobby/informational thing, so I've worked hard to strike some balance between revenue-generation and pages that aren't crammed with ads. AdSense ads are certainly NOT on every page. The ones that are there, I've attempted to optimize via placement and blending.

I'm fairly certain that I could do better with my AdSense performance, but I'm not super-motivated to undertake the effort.
