Hi Everyone Your input would be greatly appreciated on which affiliate program you feel is the best for releasing digital products in the $1,500 range. Specifically for DP folk who have had experience with this. Please also list your reasons for your answer. Thanks so much in advance for your help TS
Thanks mtmjohn Would it create problems to have such a high price-point with them(due to limits) - or is that now standard? Thanks again TS
I would agree with Clickbank if you are looking to release through an affiliate network. They are the most popular for digital products. You could also consider (if you are able) contacting some of the big name affiliates and give them some exclusive rights to market your product. Not sure if you're up for that, but it's something to think about with a product at that high of a price point.
Thanks for the input bdunndchi, If I opt for option B, offering an exclusive - what system would you recommend - 1shoppingcart?
Over at www.revenuewire.com we have quite a few software offers in the several hundred dollar range. If software is what you're looking for I think you'll find our network will convert much better than ClickBank
Thanks for this recommendation BCRed, I am not familiar with www.revenuewire.com Please let me know: 1. What the maximum allowable product cost is? 2. Return period 3. Payment methods and schedules? 4. Do they/you take care of all affiliate payments in the same way Clickbank does? 5. How does it compare with Clickbank in terms of affiliates? 6. Anything else I/we should know in terms of competitive advantages they offer? Thanks so much in advance TS
Hi TalentScout, to answer your questions: 1. There isn't a cap on allowable product costs for merchants. The maximum affiliate commission per sale is currently $100 but we are looking to remove this cap shortly 2. The return period I believe is 30 days, and we run all customer service in house so we keep returns to a minimum 3. Payment is biweekly by default, and can be increased to weekly once you've been on the network a little while and started doing decent volume. We pay via Check, Wire, ACH (for US), and PayPal 4. I'm not quite sure what you mean with this question, but we pay all our affiliates directly as we process the transactions themselves. 5. In terms of affiliates, we are a smaller network than Clickbank. We have over 10,000 affiliates though around 500 are actively selling. Given our smaller size, we are able to provide individual affiliate managers for all active affiliates on the network 6. As far as competitive advantages, our dedicated affiliates managers are big for a lot of people. Our cart has beaten Clickbank's in split tests, and most affiliates who switched to us with similar products have seen major improvements in conversion and profitability. We're also far more flexible than Clickbank, we provide in house marketing services to affiliates, and much more.
Thanks BCRed - plse let me know when your affiliate commissions can go over $100. Any other suggestions?
