Your RAM? I just blew mine..

    Yo.

    So today i just blew 2 of my RAM ports. Thats 1gb RAM gone, just got 1 gb left. I dont know how it happened, I will be putting in 2 1gb RAMs now. So how much RAM do you have?

    I have only 1 GB but my PC is fine. Its an AMD thing.

    I fired a half gig chip in my laptop so i know how you feel.

    Most of the servers have 12 gigs in them, up from 4 gigs. The database boxes that drive our antispam solution are 192 gigs since all that data is in memory.

    All the computers at home are under a gig.

    Oh then i guess its okay for me. I have a workstation, so it had alot of RAM.

    My laptop have 3GB of RAM. For me, that is the minimum amount of RAM to run Vista perfectly on my laptop.

    Got 1GB, more than enough for me.. i just use internet, and watch movies. No extra graphics work.

    I have 2 x 1 GB sticks of Kingston RAM sitting in my desktop. That's all I really need for XP right now.

    Yeah vista needs loads of ram. I think 1GB is enough for normal use, but i need to run Photoshop and Dreamweaver + Browsers so 2 Gb was good. But the 1GB left aint that bad, no problems so far.

    Heck with Vista. Spore needs a ton of memory to run. Video memory as well.

    Guess i was the only who have 512mb of RAM, but this is fine for me.
    I can run lots of application anyway. i can run gimp and inkscape just fine
