I prefer MSN for chatting and Skype for voice calling my brother which sometimes last an hour or a few hours (saves the phone bill). I use Yahoo! for some chatting, but it's my least favourite. All the others I don't bother with, I don't understand why there has to be so many, I'd much like it if there was just one application that everyone uses, It would make it so much easier.

AIM is very unprofessional, therefore I use MSN. I can communicate with people on Yahoo with it, too.

I like skype because it has a function to make a call to landline. the video conversation is working much better than MSN or Yahoo.

Miranda, hands down and availabe here www . miranda-im.org

You can be in touch with all your contacts running the IM listed in this poll and a few more, like the Polish Gadu-Gadu, and even chat rooms and IRC by means of plugins and addons that does not require too much system resources even if you run all of them at a time [IMG]

P.S. I'm sorry, I cannot post live links still [IMG]

I was using Trillian for a while. It worked with Yahoo, MSN, AOL, & ICQ. But had basically no features. Once I realized that I never talked with anyone on AOL & ICQ, I switched to Yahoo and have all the lovely features and talk with people on Yahoo and MSN. :D
