I have 3 blogs (yes im new to adsense) and i was wondering if having your own domain helps traffic.
Also, I don't know programming, is programming a really good way to increase revenue? I have great ideas for websites, but i dont know php =(.
I do know some html anyway....

By the way how much do you pay for domains and web hostings.

If you can successfully target a niche, I bet you'll be as successful without have own domain or know programming.

A website with it's own domain name just looks more professional and gives you just a bit more to work with concerning brand recognition and making it easier for people to remember your URL (provided you keep it short and sweet).

You can easily install the Blog software you are currently using/something similar, without having to know PHP, although it will make things easier if and when you want to modify the CMS software.

Domain names vary in price from around $6.50 - $9.00 per year and hosting is also around $6 - $10 (for most normal sites, also depends on storage space needed and bandwidth).

I want to redirect the domain to my blog for the next months until i have the real website.

    Thanks for the replies, appreciated.

Duplicate content refers to one or more sites having the exact same content. Search engines pick that up and then penalizes the sites.

However this shouldn't be a problem for you. Just make sure that your real website isn't being spidered before it goes live, and then remove your Blog entries from your Blog, before directing to your real site.
