Hey guys, I would like to know your opinion about these samples we've made to a website called Rappacy. The website is specialized on making custom rap songs to their clients. We have tried some experiments that are attached on the file, any feedback is welcome, either on excluding some of the logos, choosing the best one or even making some adjustments to the main idea. Thank you very much in advance!
Sorry, but for me - none of them. The "Headphones" don't look right; the arch on the headband is too round - people don't have round heads - you need to make them more oval ... and the "blip" graphic is something I'd associate with a heart monitor or medical equipment, not music. That being said, finding a graphical representation of rap is going to be challenging ...
#11. Clean, minimal, would look good in black&white. I like how the image could be a sound wave or EKG reading of a heart beat.
We made some new variations of the samples with most votes, and added some new ideas based on the feedback we were given... Here are the new samples: Do you still think #11 (now #5) is the best looking one? We also tried the human face instead of a circle (#11). What do you think about it? Thank you very much for your feedback!
Hey guys, thank you so much for your feedback. As you know, Rappacy makes custom Rap songs to their clients, so the main principles on the logo would be: SOUND: Represented by the headphones and the microphone CREATION: Represented by the “sound wave” that intentionally resembles an ECG wave or “heartbeat” to get the idea of the birth of a new song ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE/CUSTOM: The part of “accessible to everyone” can be represented by the circle which can be interpreted as a globe/Earth (anyone can have a rap song). On the other hand, the part of “custom” can be represented by the shape of an head, which represents the fact that any person can have his own song SIMPLICITY: We want the logo to be as simple as possible, but we want also to represent the principles stated above Based on these four main principles, and on the precious feedback you have provided, we have made this short selection of 4 logos: We would love to know your last feedback regarding these 4 samples we've made combining your opinion with the main principles that Rappacy represents. Thank you in advance
#3, It can directly relate and communicate with your market audiences. It signifies the heartbeat of songs and the love for music. Best Regards, Commoner
Commondor, thank you for your feedback and explanation David, yes, I do ahah thank you very much for following up this thread and for your feedback, but in my personal opinion, I think the NEW #4 is too simple, some people told me it looked like an insurance company's logo The general public likes NEW #1 and designers prefer NEW #4. We are a bit confused about what to do, because we also like NEW #3 for its uniqueness. We are learning a lot, but taking a final decision is getting tougher and tougher.
Haha! No problem ... #3 still, won't change due to its unique and dominant status. Denote your status quo now!
I have an issue with the 'headphones' logos because they make me think of Rhapsody -- Yahoo's failed music streaming service. Since you're sort of a 21st century update on classic radio jingles -- I like the classic, art deco feel of #4. Kind of a throwback to the golden days of radio.
3 is able to breath and is easy on the eyes. Too many lines mess with your head. It looks professional and credible. Well done!
From the original list, I like 7 and 12, from your smaller sublist, I prefer #1(though #4 is awesome but doesnt clearly convey that it is about music... if you put head phones on #4, it might be the best)
I think #1 is the best, but I'm not getting the "pulse" graphic in the red part. What is that supposed to represent? Why not make that red part look more like a record instead? Because when I think of rap/hip-hop, I think headphones, microphones, and records. I'd also like to see the headphones fit the circle better, with the arc matching the outside of the circle. Looking good though! You're on the right track.
