Your Opinion Please - Need Advice

I am considering this website template.

Overall, what is your opinion of the template?
Do you think a newbie would be able to edit the pictures and text fairly easy. I can edit in html and css, but I have never worked with flash.
What would be the easiest program to edit the flash files?

The seller states that he/she provides instructions on how to change each image with flash and how to change text and external links.

I appreciate any feedback.

 

Well i have tried to open the tempelete and my Kaspersky internet security allerted me that the site has been reported as an attack site, so i did not open it.
Consider users security when using these kind of tempeletes.

Tempeletes are easy to edit if you have basic HTML and CSS knowledge. Just play with it and read a lot you should be abble to edit and post anything you like.
to edit flash adobe flash editor i recon is the best.

Thanks for your reply. It is listed for sale on another site (not sure if I should mention the name of other site). In your opinion, I should avoid the template all together due to the security issue you mentioned?

Also, do you think Kaspersky internet security better than McAfee? I did not get alert on the template.

 

I have used both Kaspersky and McAfee, I prefer Kaspersky as it is to rated anti virus and their updates are so great. Based on this review

Kaspersky is just great on almost everything.

Hey why dont you use free tempeletes? im sure there is no difference if you can edit them yourself later, Im one of them guys who think twice before opening my wallet. Remember to ask yourself WHY, before you open your wallet, if no good reason, close it and save your money for more useful things?

I was considering that template because I would like a template that is not seen on a lot of other sites. I did not want to have to leave the footer of the designer as a link on my website...don't most free ones require that?

Editing a footer is very simple if you know coding. And whats wrong with being proud of someones work? he/she helped you to get a tempelete why dont you do the same for leaving people to see his other work? that way you both parties gain profit.

 

Oh, I agree, but for this particular site, I will pay for the template so it does not have a footer link and is not used on so many other sites.

 

Google/Firefox stopped me from visiting the site. Got an unsafe site warning.
