Hi! I just joined several traffic exchange programs. In about an hour, I received 35 visits from the traffic exchange. But in my tracker I noticed the only stayed in the homepage and didn't see anything else. Are this traffic exchange programs effective? I think they would only serve for cpm banner impression but not to quality visitors for your website....
These auto surf/traffic exchanges are rubbish. have a read of this. It describes why the traffic exchange programs don't work. Essentially visitors earn reciprocal traffic for visiting your site so they only go there because of that incentive. this is incentivised traffic and it only boosts your stats not your sales or ad clicks. Also a lot of the exchanges are plagued by cheats who will use automated bots to do the surfing for them. but in saying that the traffic exchange model is a very good one. I have used it to develop a system (see my sig) that delivers high quality traffic by ensuring people cannot cheat, and that people do not arrive for the incentive of getting a reciprocal visitor. I encourage you to check it out if Quality traffic is what you're after. I hope this answers your question.
Thanks Zorde. I like that system you talked about. I liked the fact that your mouse must be ON the video to guarantee that your are indeed watching it. But, would this attracts other niche rather than INTERNET MARKETERS? I mean, who else would sit in fron't of the computer watching commercial videos? I watch them because I want my videos to be watched by others. If my niche market are Teenagers, How Can I use Leadsbyvideo?
Effective TE is just capture visitors attention in a short minutes, then capture their email to build your list... TE is better play it "slow & steady",don't expect overnight success!
"Effective TE is just capture visitors attention in a short minutes, then capture their email to build your list..." How Do i do that? I have in my homepage the form for the newsletter, but no one has entered...
Yeah. It's like fooling yourself... You could have tons of traffic from traffic exchange but those are just low quality...
Zorde is correct - they are rubbish....although I typically use much more colorful words when describing them.
Most of these banner exchange/traffic exchange/auto hits services are junk and you should stay away from them. Nothing to gain from them in my opinion.
There are lots of people that will watch the videos. I quote from the site "viewers range from bargain hunters, opportunity seekers and competition enthusiasts to advertisers researching online video conversion rates and webmasters wishing to secure more traffic." LeadsByVideo.com give away some awesome prizes every month which attract a lot of viewers. Internet marketers are of a wide demographic, and your video would attract those that are "teenagers" if that is who your value proposition targets. Also, LeadsByVideo.com does not follow the traditional 1:1 ratio of a traffic exchange. Once you have a video spot on the playlist, your video can get unlimited views, although the more spots you have the faster you'll receive them. It is more of a quality lead acquisition service or video Ad sharing service than a traffic exchange. Although it borrows the idea of viewing other peoples ads as a way of reaping the benefits for free. If you read the blog you will find that they will soon be introducing video creation services and a classifieds video ad directory.
Over all don't use traffic exchange sites!! Most of them are using robots to generate fake traffic while the only thing your doing is providing them good traffic to there arsenal of web sites...!
Manual traffic exchanges work great. You can build massive lists of qualified leads, all people interested in traffic, list building, and home business opportunities. The thing is, if you try to use traffic exchanges to make sells or anything else other than to build your list of prospects you will have minimal results. Autosurf traffic exchanges are trash because nothing keeps people looking at your sites in rotation. Manual surfs work if you are using them to build your list by promoting squeeze pages that build your list and brand your name or business.
I have a report on traffic exchange here that explains why people have issues with traffic exchanges: www.newway2surf.com/truth.html It covers some reasons why people have problems with traffic exchanges and the changes that will be made by my team and myself to provide a traffic exchange platform that will work and provide the tools necessary for anyone to see success while using traffic exchanges.
I hate to be a cynic but to say "All traffic exchanges are rubbish and a waste of time" is a bit over the top. The traffic exchange model is excellent. After all it works on the barter model where I scratch your back and you scratch mine. The problem is most exchanges are being exploited. here is the checklist LeadsByVideo uses to ensure their traffic is the highest quality targeted traffic you can get online: 1) Does the visitor arrive at your website pre-educated with a thorough understanding of what you're offering and the value of the offer? 2) Is the visitor arriving of their own conscious will or have they arrived through: # An unexpected loading of your site in a pop-up or frame? # A poorly described search engine listing? # A service that gives incentives and/or money to the visitor when they visit your site? # The lure of a misleading advert? # An accidental click? # Parasites, spyware, spam, or other malicious techniques? # A badly categorised or explained directory listing? # A misspelled domain name? 3) Does the service charge you money even if the traffic they deliver does not buy your product or service? 4) Does the service work on the theory that blasting your website with thousands of hits will justify that they're fulfilling their part of the agreement, when in actual fact they're wasting your bandwidth and skewing your stats? 5) Does the service operate openly and transparently showing you exactly where your traffic is sourced and how their anti-cheat systems work?
Traffic exchanges can work if you do it properly. One needs to remember that webmasters/affiliates are the primary users of traffic exchanges. So, if you offer something that appeals to them, then you can be successful. Advice: do not add your website to the rotation, create a banner page that captures the attention entices to click and add it to rotation.
