Is a website like this (marketplace.mindblowers.net/test) , when it's fully categorized, going to generate any sales? I have more than 200 unique hits a day, but untargeted. The main page itself will also display random products from ClickBank. Wanting some help from those with experience :D

Making a site with only ads to work is very difficult. Why don't you try to add some relevant content also?

Site looks horrible. The colors are very hard to look at -- not to mention it reminds me of those sites back in 1996. You have a lot to learn... You won't be making any money with spam/ad sites like these.

Hey, it was worth a shot I guess :p

Well, check out the existing page at marketplace.mindblowers.net . Is that better, or even worse?

My idea is to make a portal type website, called The Mindblowers Network, hosted at mindblowers.net. I've started off with just a Marketplace, but I plan on adding a Tutorials section next. That'll be at tutorials.mindblowers.net . It'll be just like the Marketplace, with a directory structure, but contain tutorials. Since I'm good with computers and physics, I'll be writing tutorials on mechanical and relativistic physics, as well as programming and even niche stuff like "making your own operating system", since I have personal experience in that. The tutorials are going to cover different ranges, from beginner to wrote-the-book. And I'll link to relevant products in the Marketplace.

The main network page would contain a membership option so that people can signup, and it would be used for example in the Tutorials section so that members can keep track of their progress through a tutorial and even submit "assignments" that will be graded by a live person that can help them out with trouble areas and such. I'm wondering though...should the membership be free or subscription...or should I make two-levels of membership, and only paid ones can submit assignments for example, or their own products in the Marketplace?

Some future ideas for this network/portal type of website is to add a social section, auction section, and a library section where members can post free writing as well as pay-to-view writing (from which the members will be paid a large percentage).

Just a little overview of my ideas for the site...what do you guys think? Will it work if done properly? I'll mostly be selling affiliate products. I'm thinking of removing Adsense ads...is that a good idea?

Thanks for taking the time to read this long post and giving your opinons :)

Add content and value to your site, then try to make money out of that ;)
