I have seen many complains about too much implemented on search results with local ones from webmasters around the globe. I do not think the local could be implemented in each and every keywords. My question is - do you or your website really effects by the change in search results with local ones?
Well, it does. My site was ranking #1 for a highly competitive local search keyword (along with map) and now the same keyword showing 5 more results..
depends on the niche actually. You are right about that nature of keyword plays a major role in triggering local results, however with increasing influence of social profiles on your results, its quite evident that not every person is seeing the same rankings for a keyword as you do
I have seen significant change for companies results being displayed with the switch google made. Most people have dropped in one area or another. I have not seen anyone shoot to the top as a result. It appears that you need a combination of both local and natural seo to make the front page now.
