Hello everyone!

I'm representing the text link trade company. We are going to launch our service in January and we are currently developing our affiliate program. We are going to offer our affiliates 25% revenue share program, that is our affiliates will receive 25% of the revenue generated by their referrals.

So, we would like to know what features of affiliate programs you like/dislike most of all? Or, probably, what do existing affiliate programs lack? Or any other related issues. Everybody is welcome to speak out. We'd appreciate every opinion!

Text link trading means whether you would involved in buying and selling of links ? or whether you would allow the users to by and sell links on your platform by charging a small fee..

Thanks. We will provide our users with payment via paypal option as well as other methods of payment. Actually our users will receive their payouts from 1st to 5th in the beginning of the month for the previous month.

I guess it's not exactly a CPL program. Users who signed up under you must generate some revenue for the system. Only in that case you will receive your 25%.

 

PayPal payments is a must.

I have a question about payout threshold. Some say they don't like when it's high as it can take more than a month to reach it, others don't like when it's low as it is related to frequent withdrawals and thus additional fees. So, to your mind, which one would be the best?

 

no limit for payout..i think that is important

 

What about the sign up form? Should it be brief or on the contrary extended?

 

Sign up should be a mix of both, only asking for essental details like payment info and address and suchlike. If i want to attract affiliates i don't want them spending longer than a 5 minutes filling out a form

 

I also would like to ask about tracking. For how many days would you recommend to set the tracking cookie?

 

Nice to see that paypal payout option...for cookies i think standard time period of 90days is good

I agree with "EGOLDZONE". CPL seems to be converting better than any other programs these days.
