Your opinion about this domain

I am making my own website where I can show my complete portfolio and full information about me.

I will show all my sites I have designed for clients, the sites I am running and everything. It will be my complete profile.

I have purchased this domain for my site DecentProfile.com

What do you think about this name? do you think it is good?

 

Decent means better than terrible, worse than good, not sure it is a flattering name from that perspective
It is a catchy name, just need to come across as modest by showing an outstanding portfolio

Agreed. Not a very flattering name.

Not enough impact, IMHO.

Some words with impact: Impact, Outstanding, Amazing, ...
Even if your designs are simple, you could think of words like: Classic, Elegant, Professional, Clean, ... , for your domain name.

I also do not think "profile" is the theme for your domain, although it IS your profile, it is a profile for professional services; maybe you could use your type of services as a base for a domain name.. "Amazing Designz Portfolio", "Clean Sites Portfolio", "Elegant Designer Profile", ...

 

OK, I think I should think of some other name other than Decent.

OK, after so much thinking for a good domain name I have decided and purchased this domain

DezineFolio.com

It has both words Dezine & Folio, dezine expressing "Designing" and Folio expressing "Portfolio".

How is this name?

The domain is pretty good, but not for what you are planing.

I would suggest naming your 'service' and then purchasing the domain, where you can show the portfolio but also get orders, because in the end that what you want to get right?

Personaly I have a hard time marketing domain names in Google for free without my keywords in it.

If you know how to market any domain, I think you found a very interesting one.
I liked DezineFolio.com a lot! It's stylish and creative, like you want your services to be pictured as (I guess).
