The site looks pretty good. Your only going to get a certain type of people coming back to the site on a regular basis though. Just keep the videos coming in and i'm sure people will keep visiting.
Hi TwistedSpikes, Thank you for your review Well what you say is true ofcourse, it will only attract people who like reggae music. But indeed on the other hand for us who like this music its something to check out regulary as there arent much of these sites around, especilly with this set up. Therefore i don't think it will generate record amounts of visitors but a slowly increasing amount of regulars. TY
Regulars are a good thing to have. I like the layout anyway. The advertising would put some people off too (quite a few people are agains't drug use). But it could be a nice little niche you have there. Just get good SERP's and your sorted really.

Your search engine position for keywords. For example you'd probably be looking for "reggae videos", "reggae vids", things like that, and you want to rank high in search engines for those keywords (so you get the most traffic from them). Have you submitted it to search engines yet?

Thanks Think its always good of... beeing odd hehehe Hi TwistedSpikes, Ok, i understand. Well I did not do anything about that yet as i really did not had any time for that. I know its the most important thing of having a website though get the searchbots to crawl. Did see some in the stats. As having a good seo on this site, think that with the standard features of onsite stuff the H1 and H2 headers would kill the lay out here, so i did not did those things. When typing 'reggaevideos' on G the 'competition' for this is real small, about 700 hits. For 'reggae videos' this is aprox. 700k, so my guess is that with 50/100 backlinks to other reggae websites this will be enough for ReggaeVidz to have a good and solid positioning @ G. Posted it on 2 reggae forums and well, here, and i have aprox. 100 visitors a day for the last 3 days and rising. Did see that the big G did not list it but thats a matter of days. My goal with this site is to have at least 800/1000 visitors within a week so well, we see how it goes. Think that if put some time in 'advertising' RV it really could be something as it has almost no competition and altough reggae is not the worlds most beloved kind of music, it has a very large online community. Yeah I agree, it could become something quite good. A nice little niche with near to no competition. 800-1000 won't be hard. I take it you have submited it to google, yahoo, msn search engines and the dmoz directory? If not then i'd start by doing that. Getting it listed in dmoz will make google see it as a more trusted site (and thus show higher for keywords), and it gives a backlink, so thats always nice. Yahoo and msn search can still give you pretty good traffic too, so I wouldn't miss out submitting to them.

The design is quite individual and usability is good. But the black color makes the site look so dreary. That's the only thing I dislike.
Looks good, a bit too loaded though and you should change that background. Looks, hmmm , i dont know, it just does not look good.
