His point is their weapons are like toys. Hamas is probably just kidding when they shoot them into Israel. No need to get so mad and launch an all out war in response.
Okay, it's a fair enough question. The argument of "disproportianate force". A similar question would be why Hamas wages war with inferior weapons. Since they have no apparent chance at success against a superior opponent, why don't they give up the idea of using force to get their way and rely, instead, on negotiations. Those questions are like the head and the tail of the same beast.
Toys or not toys... these things KILLED people, got people into SHOCK, WOUNDED people, people are AFRIAD OF GETTING BACK TO THEIR HOME because of these TOYS! WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THEM NOW, TOYS HUH?
Disproportionate force? True. You're talking about a terrorist organization and a full scale army. There will always be disproportionate actions, but that's exactly the point. Every action that Israel will do will be called as disproportionate, so are you saying that Israel should just suffer the rockets and not do anything at all? Are you seriously looking at this as if it's a football match? What's wrong with you?
So shouldn't you fight against all those Muslims who actually think Jihad means killing those who aren't Muslim? The basic rules of war in Islam Hamas is shooting rockets at civilian targets.
I don't think they're toys. I think they're weapons. If people were firing them into my house here in the USA, I would demand my government squashed every single one of those bastards until they were dust. If I lived in Israel, I would be voting for Netenyahu in February.
The purpose of Hamas shooting rockets is to terrorize the people. Thankfully the outcome of this battle will be a greatly weakened Hamas and hopefully International monitors to assure that Hamas does not continue to launch rockets into Israel - something no UN member would tolerate on their own border.
What do you expect from people living under siege ?: The minimun bases and conditions of life are not exisiting there . This is the expression of refuse of the "Actual Conditions of life" .... ...
Yup, Why the hell would they blow rockets for no reason, stop being naive and look at it from there point of view.
I'm trying to. But you also have to see what happened in 2006. The IDF left Gaza strip, and in return they smuggled more weapons, so a siege was cast in order to stop the smuggling and the rockets.
I noticed you didn't respond to this, so I'm posting it again. My opinion counts because my tax dollars support the Israeli military. Now if Israel wants to do whatever, solely on their own budget, without US financial support, well then that would be different.
