One of my self-built desktops (about 2 years old) is running a Asus M2R32-MVP board with a X2 6000+. Not a bad board, has plenty of features and I have never had an issue with it. The only other brand of board I would use might be Intel, but their cpu's are mostly out of my price range so I stick with Asus AMD boards.

My older desktop has Intel D865GSA.

I don't know about my new one, but it's an Intel for sure.
