1920x1200 on my pc and 1280x854 on my laptop.

I still see around 8-15% running 800x600 depending upon how 'joe public' the site is..ie techy sites don't get many low res visitors.

But as screens grow in size and resolution, people are slowly learning they don't *have* to maximise their browser window, and my 'joe public' stats show that whilst 97% > 744 wide browser windows, only 65% > 968 browser window width.

A trend I've seen and followed are sites that ensure the navigation and main content fits within the hallowed 760-770px wide zone (to account for the vertical scrollbar), but then extend the overall design wider with ads or secondary content, so the page is 'optimised' for 1024 wide displays.

There's always fluid width designs too remember...

    Old people with bad eyes.

My uncle has me work on his computer all the time, he bought a nice 17" LCD when they just came out, with a nice Radeon video card. It always pissed me off, he buys this nice hardware then runs it on such a crappy low setting it's nothing but a blur and hard on the eyes. He claims it's 'easier' for him to read though.... Damn old people :D

And don't you use a 36" too? or was it 48"? So every letter on DP is about 1" tall for clear view?
