I thought it would be kind of cool if people listed the radio stations they listened if they had a way for them to be listened to live on the internet. I personally prefer Talk stations but if you have a favourite music station, that would be OK.

    The rules for posting

-The station must have a facility to listen to it online (Thats the whole point)
    -Specify the city/country
-It has to be a station you listen to

I thought this would be cool only because I actually like learning more about countries by listening to their radio personalities or watching their TV

    -------------------------------------------------

    I will start

    Country: Ireland
    City: Dublin
    Station: Newstalk 106
    Type: Talk
    Link to Listen: http://www.txradica.net/tune.php?c=newstalk&.wvx

Recommend listening to audio on Demand - Chris Needs needs to be heard to be believed...

It's not a local station, as in county or country seeing as it covers all of the UK and is broadcast over North America on Sirius, but I listen to BBC Radio 1. Mostly in the car, but sometimes at home online.

Country: UK (Is the UK a country? Anyways...)
    Station: BBC Radio 1
    Type: music, chat, guests
    Link to Listen: here

When I'm wearing my tweed jacket and smoking a pipe, I listen to Terry Wogan on Radio 2 as well :)

    Country: UK
    Station: BBC Radio 2
    Type: music, chat, guests
    Link to Listen: here

I suppose since this thread only got 2 responses I should give a little more info on why I was asking.

Through listening to a local radio station I started emailing or texting my site each time a topic came up that was related (I have some tools on one site which work particularly well)...What I found was quickly they started saying my site as a place to check something out. They obviously presented it as a user comment but it still has been quite effective.

I am now trying to reproduce this marketing model elsewhere so if anyone has more live webcasts of radio stations, don't be afraid to post.

Anyone who posts a legitimate one using the format above, gets some green rep :D
