    what are your most 3 recommended books about JavaScript ? have used books to start learning JavaScript or only after you became veteran, or you have never read any books about it at all.

    Mine are:
    1- Simply JavaScript - SitePoint
    2- JavaScript anthology - SitePoint
    3- JavaScript Bible - Wiley

    Although its a 2006 book, now being 2010, would you still recommend it? Would most of what it teaches be up to date enough? Ive just been reading about this book.

    This question is also for anyone else who may have read this book.

    JavaScript by Example ... Ellie Quigley ... a bit dated but still a very solid reference.
