Say you have a huge product you've been working really hard for coming out soon...What would be your go-to marketing strategy for said product? PPC? E-mail? Forums? Social Media? Viral? I want to know which and why. Thanks, dudes.
I prefer social media. If you are consistent it yields good results. It does not take long to do each day and there are tools available that make social media marketing easier.
Every internet marketing I know: social media, blogging, seo, multimedia etc. It is important to focus on one product first especially if you are just starting out but for strategies I suggest to take advantage every free marketing tool you can use.
You need to try everything. PPC is the best though, in terms of validating the product and receiving targeted traffic. SEO is number 2 on this list.
Hello everyone! I will go for Social Media especially Facebook. But don't go for likes campaigns because you can end with more fake likes from likes farms. I prefer to exclude countries that have those like farms. You can run a campaign for website clicks and you will see that interested user also like your page. Have a nice day everyone!
There's no panacea to internet marketing. What works today may not work tomorrow. Having said that I also realize that PPC advertising will be effective no matter what other modes of advertising come along. Twitter works well for me when it comes to social media exposure. Experiment with all the 5 options you've listed there. Only you can determine what will and what will not work in your particular case.
Your question is similar to me saying that I just bought a vehicle and I need to know what tires to use with it. You could be driving a truck, a car, or a bicycle. Just like with tires, there is no "one size fits all" marketing solution. If you were to tell me that your product was a brand new jumbo jet to compete with Boeing and Airbus, I would suggest one set of sales/marketing options versus if you have a new brand of cosmetics to sell. I realize that you may believe that confidentiality is key at this point, but without even knowing the potential price point, buyer profile and marketing budget, it will be difficult to provide any useful opinions.
jrbiz nailed it. Responsible (and effective) marketing is marketing that's tailored to your target buyers. What's most likely to influence that specific group's buying decisions? If you don't know the answer to that question, you're not ready to think about tactics. Two two products or services should be marketed in exactly the same way.
That last bit should read: [QUOTE="No two products or services should be marketed in exactly the same way.[/QUOTE] Sorry about that. Can't edit the original anymore.
saw this post on here your wrote: I prefer social media. If you are consistent it yields good results. Need some help if don't mind? Hope to here from you soon, Michael Ladd
Social media is my favourite strategy. Can start off free and create a following and then scale things up from there.
I would develop a solid content marketing strategy, build an email list of people who would already be interested in my product, and launch it there first. Then ask them to share it and spread the word. I'd also guest post like mad. I think the people over at Buffer did 150 guest posts in 6 months (or something like that) to get exposure. It's a massive amount of effort up front to gain traction, but it pays off. In a nutshell: I'd go for a long term content marketing strategy in order to receive greater rewards down the road.
