    I have to laugh about my first site it was **** It was a fan site I think but I knew nothing about websites so I guess it wasn't that horrible but it's still funny to look back on. :)

    My first website was a forum based on an online MMORPG. I never expected it to become as big as it did - over 200,000 impressions per month! Unfortunately, the site that was hosting it died, and so did my website. =\

    My first site was gamersfortress.net back in January 1, 2003. The forum had some great activity, but the host who also registered me a free domain took off with it. I think the guy's name was Bruce Winn...

    Anyways, learned a lot more about trust and web hosting than web development.

    Always backup your site. I have CDs with old copies of some of my sites. These days they tend to evolve though rather than popping up a whole new site so I don't bother keeping hard copies. I just have a development copy of my existing sites.

    I used to have a GeoCities page. It was pretty rediculous. I don't even really remember what I had on it.

    first website is pretty close to heart. i remember years back i made my first website, and even though it's not all that cool or profitable but i still like it very much.

    My first site was online in 1999,i am very sorry i didnot renew it in 2002, or it would a authority site(at least in google's eye) .btw in 2000 i didnot know the SEO.
