VB was a great little tool for helping me as a noob create crappy applications while learning some basic concepts. I can still use it to make OCRs on people's crappy CAPTCHAs. Anyhow, PHP has got to be my favorite, the variables and huge library of functions makes it so easy to make complicated programs. I also like VB.net and Java, but I have a problem with each: Java: it can be a huge hassle to use, especially for certain things. I'm also not very fond of the documentation, even if it's large, it's not clear and concise. VB.net: great language for making some personal programs easily. Con: horrendously large runtime files required.
HTML and PHP both are my favorite programming laguages. (Know more about html and less about PHP) I want to know more about PHP (Still at beginning stage) DON.
For non-web applications, I like PowerBASIC. It's a fantastic compiler. The language is very much like C (and now C++), but with a BASIC language syntax. For the web, I'm just getting my feet wet with PHP.
