My favourite place, not only in the world, but the Universe - is anywhere as long as I'm with my darling wife, Karen!
That's two places, unless, of course, there's a suburb of Las Vegas called Hong Kong! I was last in Hong Kong in 1968 - I liked it very much, and would very much like to return to see how much it's changed. The same with Cape Town - 1967 & 1968. I didn't rate Singapore, was there off and on during 1967 - 68 - but since then, I hear, it's been cleaned up by Lee Kwan Yu (forgive the spelling if it's wrong!). Yes, I spent a year on a cruise with the Grey Funnel Line (The Royal Navy) LOL! As for Aden - we called it the arsehole of the world! I didn't much care for Perth, Western Australia - I felt it was too clinical, however, my wife went there a couple of times on holiday (vacation), and loved it; but she went there years after I did, in fact, she would have been 6 years old when I went there.
Palau. Hands down. Beautiful, my son has family there, the water is unbelievable, we know most everyone, freshest fish/sashimi in the world.
