I need lots of opinions on the most effective forms of advertising from EVERYONE...beginners and experienced marketers.

I personally like to send solo-ads through various sites...they usually give a 10% clickthrough...which isn't bad for the price...

I'm only paying $25 per 4000 emails sent.
I also like to use my personal list.

Does anyone have any success stories or creative and effective ways of advertising they are doing at this time?

It would be awesome to get some open, click-through, and conversion numbers as well wherever applicale.

Well the most effective form of advertising is paying people per action CPA (Cost Per Action) that way to take the risk factor out of advertising, knowing that you are only going to pay once the traffic converts.

Don't forget that sometime some real world advertising can reap rewards. I don't have any experience myself but I have heard of some people having good results with ads placed in magazines.

That's the best and only true way.

There are a lot of sites out there that have hundreds of thousands of monthly hits, and their rates are incredibly low. There is a poster here who says she gets 1 million uniques a month, yet she sells space for only $100 a month.

I don't know about that one, but she could be telling the truth.

Davesdaily.com has low rates, also, and they do around a half a million.

Advertise on enough of those, and you're golden.

You'd have to do a search for the sites where their visitors would like what you have to offer.

What I do is make it part of my daily schedule of looking for sites that match what I do. I put in about 90 minutes every day. I'll choose one keyword, and go through the first 100 pages, looking at all the sites. Then I move on to the next keyword. And so on and so on....

    It's tedious, but it works.
