    Istanbul of course. There is one of two cities which has been established on two continents (other one is Canakkale, Turkey). It is the capital of Byzantine and Ottoman empires. Even in Turkey, is there a capital called Ankara, the unofficial capital is again Istanbul.

    I would say Pavones Costa Rica although it has a population of about 300 people but the waves are awesome and I caught the longest wave of my life there.
