Using Dell and HP. Good for budget stuff and dell has a cool XPS line.

Other than that, sony is pretty good.

Toshiba, my Satellite STILL runs even after I purchased it in 2002.

I have an HP right now and it sorta sucks, but it works. All my computers are Black Friday Specials.

Personally I have an ASUS i7. Works very good and I had no problems with it whatsoever. I've heard there is a good support for it as well (hopefully I won't be forced to use it, but if required - better for it to be decent). I've also heard good things about the DELL and Samsung brands but I'm not sure about that last one - my fiance has one and it works so so at times, but it may lay in the configuration which probably needs a few tweaks here and there.
