I hate to say that here, but I am occasionally visiting DMOZ for certain things..... as a user, not as a webmaster.

No particular order, just a few that popped my mind..

Site-Sift directory: Powerful weblinks, high pagerank and traffic, great category structure, normal listings and sponsered, price from $24,95
Alivedirectory: New web directory, to be powerful, great category structure, normal listings and sponsered, price from $19,95
Axeq Directory: Nice web directory, no too many links in the categories so links are powerful, nice category structure, regular listings, price from $10,-
AbiFind Directory, new web directory, to be big, great category structure, very large(!), regular listings and sponsered, sponsered listings have seperate pages with up to 4 deep links, price from free
Categorized Web: Nice directory, lots of categories in good structure, powerful links, standard and premium listings, the premium listings have up to 4 deep links and a seperate page with more info about the listings, price from $29,99

    Other directories that are good, worldsiteindex.com, elib.org, botw.org, thisisouryear.com, businessseek.biz, goguides.org, greenstalk.com, joeant.com, alldotnet.com, octopedia.com, seedirectory.com, seoma.net, skaffe.com, wowdirectory.com, anthonyparsons.com, greatnexus.com/directory/, platinax.co.uk/directory/, sevenseek.com, sporge.com, uncoverthenet.com

    I really like my own: www.seekon.info ----

I probably should never had sold it, but I am lucky enough to be working with the new owner and I still get to run it. I also get to give myself a free listing here and there so that is always nice too... :D

I really never knew this .info would do so well.... Goes to show you that if it's good, it will work nomatter what name or TLD...

    Main top reasons:
    very clean
    very fast
    simple
    static
    no ads

    Thanks!

botw.org - one of the more establisehd directories out there. Any sites we submit there receive traffic, high pagerank, and are always indexed quickly via search engines. Nothing to lose there :)

What stopped me from submitting there was seeing links to fifa site, premier league site and made me doubt those people had to actually pay anything to get in there.. Ill purchase one for a year soon though. see how that goes
