Hi everybody. The 336x280 ad is different, because the url appears next to the title. Everboy uses black or grey text color, because the text itself is not clickable. But what do you think is the best practice for the 338x280 title and url color? In general there are 3 options: 1) Title is blue or another color and the link is blue also. A lot of people would know its an ad and CTR will be a liiiitle tiny bit lower. But i dont see a big difference. But i like the idea because it's honest and I suspect that it can be a good option in the long term. 2) Title is blue or another color and the link is very bright - so that people can hardly read/see it and it doesn't look like an add. That's what everybody does these days, but the difference in ctr is not very big and i think people are getting used to it. Everybody says that that's soooo good, but it's pretty much the same to me. 3) Title is blue or another color and the link is the same as the text color. This way those guys who read over everything, will forget that there is something else "clickable" nand MAYBE not see it. But then again... In the 336-ad the url is next to the title. What's your performanance experience with the 336-ad?
Till now i have used 336x280 board within my posts and my CTR is around 2-4% that comes in good average.
336x260 Format is one of the best, it give better CTR compare to other size. You might need to open your mind, there are too many "blue" have been used and visitor know about it, try on other colour, maybe you will find some "surprise"
336*280 works great for me .... Love the format Where link color is considered, you need to keep on testing
in my site there is one. in the top left. i always see images there and i think its kind of good. it gives me good clicks. what about others?
I have 300x250 just under the post title, 160x600 in the left side of the post, and 336x280 just under the post when it open. According to my experience, 300x250 size is the best ctr and cpc, the second one sometime is the 160x600 and sometime is the 336x280.
336x280 is best ads for me. I set the title in one color and description text in different color but the same as the url text color
336x280 is my all time best performing ad. No matter what template I use, if it's near the top of the page it always does the trick as long as: #1 Traffic is highly targeted #2 The ads that are showing are relevant to the page topic #3 the page doesn't have a boat load of other ads #4 There isn't 100 other options for the visitor to choose from "OTHER THEN" the ad.
336 format as well as the 250 format does well, the 250 format is what is used for images by many advertisers, so that also should be part of your inventory
336x260 Format is best performing for me. It great to add inside the content. I have a great CTR with it.
336x280 works best for me, blend it with the site design and it can do wonders. Just make sure you use about one or two AdSense ads per page that way you get better and high paying ads.
