your Directory traffic???

Mine is very little ,only 5315.

 

I got directory traffic from

50% DP
28% Direct
22% Search Engines

I'm trying my best to get as high as possible and out there in the SE's.
It's by far no easy task, and takes a lot to advertise and target.
The only advice I could give anyone is to really stick it out
and be persistent. It's definitely going to take time.

 

I would think that people get most of their traffic from similar sources to what other sites get their traffic from. These include Search engines, web directories, article marketing, etc.

 

10% search engines
50% referring sites
40% direct traffic

I used no PPC. Just made some serious linkbuilding, and improved my SEO the last two months, targeting a new keyword.
Also Forum posting helped a lot.
Traffic is increasing at a good pace.

 

the ones that submit their website I get from forums, other come via Google

 

Webmaster forums , dir of dirs , list of directorys ....

 

I have new directory so all my traffic are only from submitters refferd from some of directory lists.
75% of traffic are Indian guys paid for directory submission.
