Hello everyone, Just wondering what you think about the ad placements and site design... The url would be loanedout.com. It will be a financial resource guide and I'm working hard on it to achieve some success with adsense. Please give me some input! Thanks, Jesse
Do you think I will make better revenue? I heard loans are the top paying keywords. Also my affiliations are willing to pay 25 dollars for a lead... being affiliated with eloan, chase, citibank, ... etc. using commission junction. I'm also a student in this field.
I suggest you move the second scyscraper to the left side and put somethig else in it's place. Something like "Interesting links". Also you can remove 1 pixel width from the navigation buttons on top, because they make annoying horizontal scrolbar with 800x600 resolution. Note that a lot of your visitors will be with it.
No, it'll be hard because there are thousands of people making these type of loan websites. It will be impossible to rank high in the search engines unless you get a incredibly high pagerank
Looks pretty good but you need to remove the "sponsored links" label above the skyscraper ads. As for you being able to quit your day job, the niche you have picked is highly competitive and it will be difficult to get good search engine rankings for a loan related site. However if you are able to generate good traffic to your site, it will be making a lot of money.
Trust me, I'll get high rankings ... Look at how many pages i've created for the dictionary / financial glossary. Over 900 pages now... ;D whatcha think now?
your site has a nice adsense blending. i believe that there is nothink to improve. just work for more visitors
I just submitted to search engines. I've gotta wait for the search engines to crawl my site. However, what do you think my adsense earnings will be if I'm getting, 1,000 uniques per day with steady click through rates...??? Keep in mind, I'm pretty much going "All Out" on this website, putting in over 10 hours a day over 60 hours per week... I have SEO'ed it as much as possible.
What would be considered "good traffic" ? I was thinking 1000 uniques a day would be a good start. I have a crap load of content on the site.
it's almost impossible to tell how much you will make with all the factors such as amount of clicks and the value of those clicks. I'm very interested if you can generate 1000 uniques with a great site but a very competitive niche
it does not depend upon hours but it depends upon traffic and site content etc so dont think that you are going to make huge $$$$
I'm going to make a wild guess, but for 1000 uniques a day (assuming you can achieve this), I will predict $8/day from adsense. Let me know how well I do. I might be able to make a career out of this. Good luck! Rich
