What New Year's resolution(s) will you make for your business in 2014? Mine will be to add at least one, new networking product line for my clients.
Mine is to dump projects that sap my time, and focus on either the projects that I enjoy or are profitable. I will also change my strategies, from having large numbers of projects in development, to moving funds that were set aside for new project development, and put that towards advertising and promoting of existing projects. Its a completely new change of direction for me, to go from pumping out projects, to a heavy advertising and promotion focus.
Mine is to double my income from freelance writing. I reached that goal this year hoping to pull it off again next year.
My resolution is to cut down on the number of hours I put in a day. Most of my income is derived from contract work. However a couple of years ago I came up with the bright idea of starting a small (very small) business as a sideline. The thing grew like a mushroom farm and now I've got more business than we can handle. I'm so busy with this sideline work, that I can't even take any more clients on.....yikes! And as far as a social life goes....what social life? I did have one two years ago!
Getting money from the Internet is fun, but to me that is still a beginner, this is enough to make me quite tired. I'm a little lost time for the family, although I have always been at home, but I spend more time in front of the computer until late at night. I strongly agree with Spoiltdiva, 6 months ago I started a small business in the field of food. My business is not yet profitable, just behind the capital. I was not able to focus on the business and internet, maybe it's cause my business the way place. I hope to be successful like Spoiltdiva, in 2014, I've decided to focus all my real business, a small restaurant. My target is not too high, just 100 customers per day, $ 5000 per month. The last, Imust change my strategies "( matt_62 said )"
My resolution for 2014 is to work everyday on my online business. It is to work on the things that are most important and eliminate anything that is a waste of time. To work smart and effectively rather than hard. I also want to try and make my business more profitable.
I already set my new year plan, launch a new product in mid February and building networks with consumers, and my priority connectivity.
Mine goes kind of in the same vein as Matt_62's resolution. I need to stop tweaking with pages that already look fine (that's the perfectionist in me) and start concentrating on advertising. I want to at least triple my advertising effort.
