Hi guys, just want to open a discussion of what are your methods to get visitors to your site? Mine? Well, email marketing, twitter, SEO, article marketing etc etc.. How about yours?
Video blogging on youtube, yahoo video, break, metacafe, dailymotion,,,,, and half dozen other sites. Youtube sends my site a steady stream of targeted traffic with a low bounce rate. The bounce rate is around 18%. Google generic search results bounce rate is around 48%. That should tell you something right there. At one time, youtube sent my main forum as much traffic as yahoo and its my #2 source of targeted traffic.
Hello, Thank you for starting up the discussion, but I would have to say that our biggest source of traffic comes from our article marketing. Currently we have about 10 articles out there on hundered of sites that are hwlping to bring in traffic and backlinks..
I like social bookmarking, article marketing, and submitting RSS feeds. Pay per click works great too, but can get to be kind of expensive. I stick to the free methods.
SEO is the best way to generate FREE traffic. It takes some time I know but once you get there the traffic is amazing Then all you have to do is make sure that you stay on top, which shouldn't be that diffcult
for me SEO seems to work extremely well, and into the long term, as long as you continue to produce similar content. otherwise social bookmarking, is the only other good success i've had. re- article marketing guys, whats your favorite sites to post articles on?
All of the above. We've got our hands in just about everything. Our strongest card is probably SEO. We started in 1999 and Google likes the history.
