Please share with me your best tips for improving Google Adwords results, or at least those tips you're willing to share? I'd appreciate anything you can offer. TinyTuna
My tip is: track, test, and tweak. Don't just make a campaign and watch it run. When you got some results, use them for improvement. Always run at least two ad variations and let them compete against each other. When you have a decent amount of clicks, discard the bad ad (low CTR, low conversions) and write a new one to test against the winner. See which keywords are the most profitable, see which ads are the most profitable. Always use the tracking feature of the network you're using (e.g. TID for ClickBank, SID for CJ). Test landing pages against each other with Website Optimizer or other tools. Like the ads, replace the loser with another page and test it against the winner. And most important: don't just collect this information, use it. It's nice to have a list of profitable keywords, but if you're not using it, it's worthless. Good luck! nadavs
It's very difficult to summarize important Adwords tips, because it's not an easy system. Everything is connected to each other. You have to make sure that your keywords, ads and your landing page are relevant to each other. For example: keywords in the ad and on the landing page. Only use keywords that are HIGHLY relevant to what you are advertising. Don't make a huge campaign with thousands of keywords. It's wrong, because even if your niche is big, you need to be maximum specific. Don't go broad. When you find profitable keywords, make an group for each of them and write a killer ad. That will help you to raise CTR and lower the CPC. If you want to know A LOT about Adwords, then read Adwords TNT. It's an excellent guide, that I came across recently.
Read everything you can about QS. There are two ways to maximize a campaign, increase your conversions or get your traffic cheaper.
