some of the niche have a lot of advertisers and the ad units have better ads that make the visitors click on ads.But some ad units in some niches stink - so for those niches link units work the best.Especially ditching the navigation to the sidebar and placing these link units at the top like a nav bar is a popular strategy that i always use.This is known by almost everyone. Microniche works the best for both the advertiser and the publisher - so it is always better to open such sites.
I do some comments with a link for me, submit to many directories, try to use a large unique content as i can and finally put a vertical ad in the side and Large Rectangle (336x280) on the top. that is all of mine
