My pal is a co-star of a new reality game show on a cable TV. I want to do whatever I can to get the word out about the show, which is a bit dangerous and different. Over the last week he posted a video on YouTube that went extremely viral. He posted a link to the show's site on the video. So that's working for him. If you have a moment, I'd love your expert opinion. The network had produced a viral video introducing the show. Besides the obvious --reddit, stumbleupon, digg--what are some ways to promote the video/show? Thanks for your time.
Excellent point. Press releases are a great idea, but brings up a point I neglected: The network is already doing the mainstream stuff -- so everything has to be unofficial. Could a press release still work?
Try adding your video's to more site's like these. Dailymotion Metacafe Myspace Facebook Viddler Yahoo Vsocial Rewer Photobucket Sclipo Make profiles on Myspace and Facebook also. If the show is new the best option would be a Press Release. Hope this helps.
