Your Adsense earning might in danger

Two days ago, somebody hijacked my gmail account. I have Adsense and Adwords with that Gmail Account. I have to block my credit card and lost $100 in Adsense. See my post about it here and other people had his domains stolen here.

it might happen if you opened your Gmail in public computer...

either you forget to logout or the computer is infected with keylogger

The worst part is Google did not help me recover my account. I have send them prof that I have the account, and they did not do anything.

Well I'm disapointed with Google. Hope this is not because they are firing people.

Were you using the same gmail and password hijacked to login to your adsense account? I don't use the same password for both.

I think I should be careful about it.. I think people get the passwords mostly by keylogging in computers..they install these keyloggers when we visit harfmul sites to our computer..

Do you have an anti-virus? Updated frequently?
    Windows updates?
Do you use limewire/frostwire/kazaa/emule or torrent products a lot?
Do you use keygenerators/warez sites, cracks for programs a lot?
Do you download files on forums constantly or a lot?
Do you open email attachments a lot?

Have you ever run a program, and it gave you an error message that seemed odd (Even if from a trusted friend). Like a program that wouldn't install, that you are not familiar with. (an error message popping up after running a program, is actually not really a real program but a trojan/keylogger/virus loading itself; most of the time).

Wow goodmast3r, this was a well thought out post with the two link drops, and even one on your reply. If this really happened, that sucks...but at least your getting your links out. :D

I did not do any thing wrong as far as I know. I'm usually very careful on this. Always check what files I am downloading. Is browsing DP a lot dangerous? The point is I don't know why this happened, and google is not helping, although I has give them prof that I'm the owner.
