Young Hip Designs?

    We're designing a site right now and are trying to get a young hip feel. I've poked around at most of the major young hip players (MTV, Maxim, etc), but can't really find anything worthwhile on these sites. Do any of you guys recommend any sites i should be checking out for this?

    well how young, and how hip?
    urbanoutfitters.com is always popular and well designed.
    thelab.com fits into that catagory as well.

    then from there you can do the link: command to see who links to those domains. Chances are it's other sites with similar design/interests.
    Or check out their link/partners sections.

    Is that what you were looking for?
    I wouldn't recommend so much flash (a lot of "hip" sites go the flash route) though. Unless you know how to handle it with regards to search engines.
