Young Age a Positive or a Negative?

    It's not like I'm going to be writing an article saying, "I'm 18!" It's just that if someone asks me what proffesion I'm in during the course of an interview (I haven't done any interviews yet, so maybe this wouldn't be asked...) I could either say I'm in journalism and overstate how much of a journalist I am or I can say that I'm a student...

    Always be honest. Don't call yourself anything that you're not. And never try to overstate something just to make yourself look better. People will generally find out, and then what could have been some nice exposure through an interview could turn into a smear campaign. Never compromise your reputation.

    If you want to be professional or more well known, I'd recommend publishing your name and age, possibly a home town or whatever. That way people will talk about and google you, not just your blog. ;]
