I keep getting emails from people asking me questions about products that I promote. Apparently, they have all bought the products through my sites, but I can never seem to find any records of them. I am starting to think that the cookie tracking system is very deficient and that I am not being credited for many sales. It's probably mainly due to users' cookies being disabled. What measures can we take against this problem? I'm sure that we are all missing out on a lot of money.
I really doubt you're getting emails from customers on your clickbank products .. Would you guys just stop talking non-sense? I've been getting well over 3000 sales in clickbank and never got a single mail from any customer.
people delete cookies on a daily basis these days, also there is something called shaving in the affiliate world
You would think that someone who obviously uses the DP forums quite a bit would realize that using an affiliate link in a signature on here is a waste of time anyway. No one's here to buy. They're here to sell, if anything.
How are they finding your email address? I have never received an email from anyone who has ever purchased any of the products I promote either.
I think conversions are messed up at times but I dont believe you constantly get these sort of emails
There has been a definite downturn in sales since September. The sales graph on CB Analytics shows a clear drop, so obviously there have been tracking or other issues.
This is not new,CB do not track all your sales, also they have problem in their payment processing system,i myself get emails from my blog reader that CB not authorizing their credit cards.
dont use iframes and other "tricks". The best thing you can do is use simple, plain hoplinks. I just asked a a question in that regards to CB and got the answer back that with any kind of iframes commissions are not guaranteed.
