I know that, this may not intrest alot of people but I found it intresting so I thought id share it, I was looking up interactive voice response systems on the internet and found that they had been around from the mid 90's I didn't think that they had been around for this long, I can only remember having paid for something on the telephone via IVR up to a few years ago i.e. my phone bill. And the fact that the first companies started using this in the 70s! It just blew me back a little that computated phone systems have been used for 40 years !
IVR can greatly improve the customer experience and enable companies to become more efficient and drive down costs.
