What do you mean??? i am from toronto but the site in on godaddy and it has 10 forums for different countries......

I didn't get your question exactly....so it is and is not a canadian site....

I just want the amount back that i have put into it..i don't care for the hours and hours of time invested....but i don't want to give any price here,because I want the end-users to evaluate and tell me the price as to how much they think the site is worth....

I have adsense and CJ ads running on the site and those are the revenue sources on the site...

 

what script is it runing of is it custom or off the shelf thats gr8 that you have ways to make mooney from it but what i think he ment was dose it make any money if so how much stats we all need stats its a nice looking site but a $1000 looks nicer unless you got some stats

What have you spent $1,000 on ? I'm a bit confused.

 

Lots of stuff like the graphics,banners,PRweb releases,giving out Mp3 players,paying to writers,hosting,adwords($400 alone) etc....

The boards are phpbb and everything else is custom..lots of mods have been added,around 10-12 i guess and the site is very stable and spam free...

Regarding the revenue,i couldn't devote time to it since last 3-4 months and thats why i want to sell it....before,it use to earn around $10/day after i advertised it for 3-4 hours...the main problem was i couldn't devote time to it and i advertised it intermittently..anyways!!!!

Regarding the price, thats what i thought the price should be...but you are always welcome to give your quotes and lets make a deal!!!!

 

I really like the design and all, but the network externalities that the site would require to become profitable are out of reach imo.

 

The whole idea to make this site 1 year back was I was a regular reader of the Craigslist "Missed Connections" section since 3-4 years and in the last 2 years,I have seen a dramatic increase in the number of posts people are posting for missedconnections....almost 100/day for each forum...

So,I thought of broadening that idea by making the first full fledged website on missed connections and visioned brokenconnection and worked hard on it.But being a hardcode programmer, it took some time for me to get into the web world of SEO's,SEF's,adsense,adwords,CJ,meta-defs,keywords,blogs blah blah blah.....and my fulltime job doesn't permitted me too much time to spend on this...

But I still believe in the concept and if it goes under proper management with some good SEO guy...i think it can hit the market hard,as it has no other competitors....

The best offer I got so far is $100....thats really surprising to me!!!!!
