    yah i used gadgets in my desktop...sometimes i hide it......

    Nope. I never used gadgets either in Vista or Windows 7.

    I used to use some of them - the post-it note, the time zone widget, and the currency converter. I stopped using them because I missed the screen real-estate that they took up.

    Why don't you use it?

    I use it and I love it as it looks good and little bit better than simple look of XP which I used eariler.

    I prefer my desktop to be empty and clean from icons and gadgets. :)

    Never use them, the sidebar in Vista was annoying and i rarely watch my desktop screen...

    I prefer to use online gadgets like google's, no need to make my destop look busy by using widgets in the deskop sidebar.
