I've noticed I use Facebook much less than what I did previously , and I don't like the Facebook timeline
Obviously everyone uses it to keep in touch with friends. I use it for chatting with my friends and keeping up to date with what everyone is doing, organizing events, etc.
Basically I use Facebook for keeping connection with my friends and relatives. Besides I have a Facebook fan page where I regularly update new things for sharing.
When I was still in undergraduate college last year, I found that facebook was a great way to let anyone who might want to know what was up with me know what was up. Prior to facebook, I'd have to either entertain inquiries from or send messages to folks individually
Yes, I too use facebook to keep in touch with friends. I know people living on all continents of the world and Facebook is the best way to follow up and stay connected to their lives.
I often use Facebook only for removing the communication gap with my relative, because they are living in Canada Between i think it's a great network to interact with friends...
Why I use facebook? - to be updated (from news, friends, etc.) - to communicate - to share - to have some fun (games, etc.)
Personally I use Facebook for being connected with all my friends (from school days till professional colleagues). It can also use facebook for creating and promoting your brand and getting connected with your target audience!
I use facebook purely for business intentions. I can find free targeted (potential) customers without spending any money, so I might as well take advantage of it.
A actually just for fun .. to get my self updated and much more entertainment and for the fun with friends...
I think Facebook (FB) has a great corporate outlook with exponential increases in profit taking abilities. FB has a lot of room to grow in the mobile ad market, telecommunications, software and cloud, as well as marketplace capabilities. I think this company has a great business model with wonderful founders that will sling-shot this short term loss into long-term success. I'm hoping the stock keeps tumbling so I can keep purchasing at price targets. FB is nothing like MySpace when it comes to business dynamics. One cannot sellout a social media to gain popularity. I'm on Facebook because my friends are there and because I trust the Facebook team to lead the company forward into continued success. I will never buy Google (GOOG) stock. I only buy who I believe in and who I can trust.
I think you are absolutely right, I even notice that I use Facebook a whole lot less, and it is reminding me of MySpace @ this point .
