You Tube Optimization

    I have some videos on You Tube, and I'd like them to rank higher when a user searches within You Tube. I believe that more views will help it rank higher.

    I also have the same videos on my main website. If I embed the You Tube videos on my site, then users will be viewing them on You Tube, right? Will these views via my site count as views on You Tube?

    Also, when I embed the You Tube video on my site, is that a link from my site to the You Tube page? Does it pass pagerank?

    I'd have to say yes if you have videos embedded in your page then views will count towards total on youtube.

    Also i'd say no to passing page rank as it is embedded in an <object> tag not an anchor.
