You think article directories really work???

It does make a difference. The backlinks coming from the article directories will help to boost your search engine rank.

 

Article marketing still works very good for me, maybe not that great as it was used to be, but still if you have a nice, attractive and well written article it could bring you decent traffic, although the last doesn't convert well for me(this excludes ads). However, if your main source of income are the ads it could be a pretty effective traffic.

 

I usually just stick to niche article directories - this works for me.

I need deep link backlinks and articles seems to be the best way to get that specific backlink I need. I read the pros and cons but articles are the best way to get back links to your inner pages IMO. blog commenting is hit and miss with akismet, no follow. I do it but it gets frustrating pretty quick. I am trying to submit 500 word articles 3-5 times per week to ezine, goarticles, isnare and associated content. Am writing as good an article as I can to get it reprinted in as many places as possible. Some of the stuff I see that is "called" an article may account for why articles don't work for some sites. It reads like a blind chimpanzee on crack wrote it, the english is non sensical, fragmented beyond belief and when you read it you know if was either an article spinner or just another crack head. I saw one article on day trading that appeared to have been reprinted over 200.000 times. Unfortunately I don't know a damn thing about day trading. Sigh.....

 

I get decent traffic for my niche site through article directories. Nothing dramatic though. I still think they are a great way to leave backlinks

 

I have a niche that I just started which is about fishing. For the first month I created my blog, I only wrote 5 articles on Enzine articles and linked back to my main site. I think I also got maybe...2 blogroll exchanges as well and that is all i did for the first month. I checked my ranking today a month later and I am on the second page for my main keyword from my site...

That is all from one days work and then waiting 30 days. Article Submissions still work but you gotta know how to link back to your site and be patient.

 

I tried a quick trial a few months back and had around 30 unique articles written for one website. The traffic and SEO value now that I look at it wasn't worth it what so ever. I would say do 1-2 articles a month per website will give you the best effect for your time.

First you need original article for each submissions
then make sure you submit to quality directories
Don't forget to create your anchor text links.

I'm always able to bring a site to first page of google within just 2 Months with article submissions only. You just have to do it right.

 

i dont think they work. costs a lot of time and google is very reluctant. they are aware there is a lot of spamming on these kind of websites

 

You don't think they work? How would you know if you never try that. You shoul'dnt assume about something you know nothing about.

Article marketing works, and I m still using that to get my websites rank from PR0 TO PR4 in just 90 days. So you tell me what works... lol

 

I use article marketing. It works fine, especially with ezinearticles.com. And use a rewriter in order to not submit the same article to all directories (PAW is the software I use as it allows me to rewrite entire sentences instead of only words). Lastly, I tried FTS where I can submit my spun articles which are posted on their blog database. It works fine as well.

 

Articles submission only works if you have got spun articles. Other wise you only end up with nothing. Google won't let you have backlinks from article directories.

Article and directory submission is very helpful to promote your site it's really most effective way this is my personal experience

 

I still find ezinearticles.com is well worth the effort, especially if you target long tail keywords.

Just spend a few minutes researching a good keyword, weave it into your article making sure it is in the first four words of the title, in the opening sentence of the first paragraph and the opening sentence of the last paragraph.

It doesn't take a lot of effort to get a 4-500 word article ranked well in Google if you go after the right keywords.

Article directories still work great once you are producing high quality unique content. Submitting the same article to a 1000 directories wont really be of much benefit. I'd much rather submit 50 unique (or spun) pieces of content. Juts remember to keep the uniqueness factor above 50%.
