Baidu is the biggest search engine in China, but compare to Google.cn or Google.com, English websites resource is a little bit weak, so it could be a good thing to whom have English website and submit your site to Baidu to get a good ranking.

Damn this is an old thread. :p

Anyways, they try to crawl my 200+ page site, but most of the time they only crawl like 10-20 pages. Maybe this is the boost they need.

For comparision, google usually reports about 400 crawled daily LOL

hi , using this process you can submit your site to baidu.
As Baidu is well known search engine in china and it only indexes the websites which can meet the need of visitors and have a good user experience.
In order to let your website been found by Baidu spider more quickly, you can submit your website to Baidu through baidu.com/search/url_submit.html .You only need to submit the website address of your homepage.

I don't think there is any benefit of submitting English website on Baidu, unless if Chinese people use the chrome translator.
