There are so many IM'rs who are still behind the times, unfortunately! The fact of the matter is, youtube traffic, if targeted is VERY HIGH QUALITY and CONVERTS! I have youtube video's in a number of niches, which point back to squeeze pages, etc. I also rank fairly high on google in these Niches. (both the video's and the sites) Guess what? The youtube traffic stays on the site 50% longer then the organic visitors. Why? I'm not sure. I guess people who are watching video's are more attentive then people who are just browsing around.. Since I have started using youtube video's to promote my products, I've also seen a sharp increase in conversions, It's not uncommon for my to see 4%+ ratios! Video promotion is the key folks!
Also don't forget that youtube traffic is great traffic that google loves. I also would suggest tubemogul which works very well
Youtube/Video traffic works because it's not a lazy endeavor. Not saying it is hard to do, but it is more than copy/paste spam that muddles most types of traffic. Even if you download videos with a tool to reupload them it takes effort. Also people love watching videos and get drawn in by the recommended videos which can easily lead to your otherwise hard to find video. So it's easy SEO and quality material which are the two keystones of successful marketing.
Youtube marketing is a good alternative into article marketing. Videos have obviously better conversions than articles but it still depends on the quality. Do you have a list of good video sites besides youtube to submit to.
Its also good if you make your youtube clip funny or interesting so people would want to share it with their friends! The only problem is still the time and money making the clip in the first place!!!
Hey, i also use Youtube now for some months. I started just for fun an load up one Video about how to do social marketing. The Video get very fast a lot of clicks and i was very pleasantly surprised. Now i have more than 20 Videos online and it works great. Regards Phil
Yes youtube marketing is an effective form of marketing but alot of people think it takes too much time, so they'd rather spend their money on SEO experts.
Yep. YouTube is definitely underrated... it's really a great source of limitless, free traffic - you've just got to find out what works and go with that. Start pumping enough videos for your various niches out and you'll get the hang of it in no time I always like to make YouTube videos for every niche I'm in... some niches respond better but overall it's a pure gold traffic source.
